The book holds short pieces of creative writing which have been inspired by our friend and fellow writer Deborah Catesby. It was Deb who brought us together and she who nudged and nurtured us all into putting our words down on paper and pushing those words out into the world. So, in her honour, we have each chosen a word we associate with her and we have taken those words somewhere else to create these ‘continuing conversations’ for Deb.
hollybush writers' retreat
We have returned from our annual writers' retreat. This year we spent the week together writing and sharing our work in Barmouth on the Welsh coast.
Deb Catesby
Writer, artist and much loved friend Deb Catesby was the founder of Hollybush Writers. She brought us all together and encouraged us to write. She nudged us and nurtured us and we miss her.
